Also, amazing to see how far behind the once dominant Japanese factories have become. From the looks of things Vinales may be in the mix for the rest of the season. And Acosta as well.
I agree, very nice to see something other than a Ducati Cup.

Whats also amazing, is what duc sells their top tier bike for. Also, amazing to see how far behind the once dominant Japanese factories have become.
Hey, I ride a 23 year old FZ1 that I paid $1300 for.Whats also amazing, is what duc sells their top tier bike for.
If you're referring to Marc he was definitely part of the action. MotoGp has become more entertaining now that several top riders are using his passing techniques. I thought Pedro did a great job in the Sprint. There's that one guy that makes it exciting.
Agreed - even my wife was on the edge of her seat when Marquez was trying to pass Pecco. The 2024 Spanish GP was phenomenal, both the Sprint on Sat and the GP on Sunday. Can't imagine the roar from 300K fans. I won't add any spoilers yet. Damp track was issue in Sprint but less so in the GP.
Yes, I was referring to Marc. Looks like he will be in the mix most every weekend at this point. Ducati will have some decisions to make by the end of the year.If you're referring to Marc he was definitely part of the action. "It was a tight fight, like old times you know," said Marquez, whose shoulder was covered in tyre marks following a particularly close encounter with Bagnaia.
That's in keeping with many sports being run from a control booth by the "suits." Maddening.Agreed - even my wife was on the edge of her seat when Marquez was trying to pass Pecco.
A few guys got penalties for Tire Pressures during the sprint - Fabio was demoted a place.... Those tire pressure rules are going to ruin the sport.
He had a bit of a advantage being at his home track. That said, it always sucks to watch a once great athlete struggle. Im glad he has some confidence back.Yes, I was referring to Marc. Like I said...An explanation of the tire pressure rule and how it's enforced.
It happened to Marquez and Honda too in the past couple of seasons. Amazing the change of position for the formerly front running Japanese factories. Not paying for a subscription, so I'm stuck with just highlights but what I saw was definitely "edge of your seat" viewing!
While MM's return to the upper tier is amazing, I find it even more amazing at the fall that F. Quarterraro(?) has taken. I know much of that is his bike, but that has got be soul crushing to go from the top to near or at the bottom in just two or three seasons.
I'm glad my cable provider (Verizon) carries it. Wish they carried Moto 2 and 3 as well. Was very happy they carried the Sprint race on Sat. Verizon also carries Australian Super Bike and Moto-America.It happened to Marquez and Honda too in the past couple of seasons. 2019 Marquez had perhaps the most dominant season in MotoGP/500cc GP history, 2020 the terrible injury and an increasing lack of (machine) competitiveness ever since.
2021 Suzuki and Joan Mir won the title and then Quartararo and Yamaha in 2021. Suzuki's gone, but Yamaha and Honda struggle to get in top 10 now.
For once I agree with Casey Stoner. Not sure how reducing cc from 1000 to 800 makes GP more street oriented. Can see it from a safety and cost aspect. I did agree with banning ride height devices.
Was going to comment about the Sustainability marketing but thought better of it since many follow the religion....... but since it's been brought up............when you look at the sea of containers in the pits that ship the MotoGP "Go Show" from venue to venue, you have to wonder if the diesel trucks, ships, rental cars, and planes that move them are all using "sustainable" fuel with reduced sized fuel tanks and motors that are more relevant to the savvy beer drinking spectators. For once I agree with Casey Stoner.
And how many times did they say sustainable in that press release?
Barf.
