Buddy of mine is thinking about purchasing a used 1200 Monster not the S model and he asked if I knew anything about them which I do not. Anyone ridden one or know someone who owns one?

I know it's not a fz...lol all kidding aside I had a 2011 and they are very well built good handling bikes. If money is no object for you they are great myself I prefer my fz, it's quicker, more comfortable and take a glance at the price tags. If he is seriously considering the Ducati great bike like i said but do yourself a favor and make sure you have a reliable Ducati dealer/service department or better yet a less expensive private Ducati mechanic...parts are unbelievably expensive as is labor and I don't know where u hail from lol but a good Ducati mechanic is hard to come by even in major cities....just my 2 cents
