2010 March M.B.O.M

What are the rules and regs on bike of the month please.

There are two separate contests. The M.B.O.M. (Members Bike Of The Month) is to post your own personal bike into the gallery. Once the polls open, everyone votes and if you win you get some spending loot for the casino and the picture gets posted on the forum's main page for the next month. If you win you are then ineligible for a certain amount of time before you can enter again. I can't remember how long, maybe six months or so but don't quote me on that.

The B.O.M. (Bike Of The Month) is to post any pics you may have of bikes of any brand or style. Again, once the polls open, we vote on the nicest and if you win you again have casino dollars coming your way.

BROHAY CLARIFICATION: the M.B.O.M does not result in any casino cash, only have the winner's submission posted on the homepage of the forum.

As for the eligibility -- if you happen to win, the time frame before you are eligible again is two months.

As for the bike format, anything is eligible for submission AS LONG AS you own(ed) the bike. It does not have to be FZ1's only, because it may of taken some of you a long time to find the right bike....:)

of course, everything has been kind of flexible because I've been trying to get increased member participation. should you have any suggestions, I'm open to 'em....

hope this clarifies some.....

My submission for March. The homestead is a boring back drop. I will try to get some more interesting shots in the near future.

Great shot what kind of camera?

Sony DSC-H20. Still a point and shoot but so much better than all my previous cameras. After weeks of research it cam down to the H20 or the Canon SX120. Both mega zoom PaS, both with the ability to setup shots manually, both highly rated by CNET. Came down to user reviews being slanted a little better towards Sony.

One of these days I will get a digital SLR.

With part of my Christmas bonus I bought my wife a Nikon P90. I have not yet tried it but will when my new parts arrive. It is a neat little point a shoot with a 24X optical zoom and 12+ mega-pixals. Not to be confused with the assault rifle of Stargate fame.:starwars:

I may have to borrow her camera for my trip this summer. The other P-90 might come in handy to.

That is a very nice camera.

Thumbs up

Very nice! you are making me crazy with the pictures. considering what I have to look at out the window, but keep them coming. :spank2::banghead::laugh2:

Time to start a new Album so you can show off the new camera's abilities. Those last two would be a good start.

you should be able to delete....and resubmit...

Click on your picture and then there should be an option to edit photo somewhere in the upper right hand corner of one of the boxes.

you can either try to update....or if that does not work, delete and then resubmit.

If that don't work, let me know, and I'll handle it for ya...
