2006 FZ1 Decided to keep it

That looks like a 2007. The 2006 came in silver or red. The 2007 came in blue or black (I have the 2007 in blue). I guess the tank and plastics could have been changed out or painted, but that would raise some questions.

10th Digit of the VIN is the "year Code": Y = Year 2000, 1 = 2001,...,6 = 2006, etc.

It was a dealer swap. It was a left over red originally and they swapped it at the dealership. Not because of damage reasons. I checked all of this out when crazybiker mentioned it that it was an 07.

So to clear that up it is an 06, tenth digit VIN number is a 6, was originally red but swapped to blue at the dealership when the 07 blue came out
