I received my rebate today and to my surprise it was $100. I thought that the rebate was $50 for a pair of tires, not $50 each tire. So in the end 1 pair of S21's only costed me $135. Wow that's cheap!
Thanks for posting this! I still have the stock tires on my bike. While there is still plenty of tread left they are totally gassed and hard as a rock. I've only bought Michelin pilot power 2ct's previously for my other bikes. I only put about 1000-1500 miles on a year so I'm not too worried...
First 2 pics are when I first put it on. Last one just kinda shows the profile. All pics are a little old but showed off the screen the best of any that I had on my phone.
My stock bars with stock levers fit fine. For aftermarket levers they might be close or have to tilt the bars a little.

I'm going to be installing these next week.
They are 42mm risers and ma005 bars. I think I'm going to cut at least an inch off each end cause they seem very wide and I'm going to be tapping the ends with a m16 x 1.5 tap to accept the stock barends. I was wondering if anyone who has done this...
I was thinking backwards both the crankcase wire and the brown plug are on the right side of the bike if you would be sitting on it.

You have to plug it into the speed sensor, before the speedo drd or speedo healer if you have one. Then tap one wire for 12v switched. I used the hot wire for the brake switch that has a brown plug under the tank on the left side of the bike. Then you have to tap the crankcase sensor wire. If...
The top shock mount has casting steps towards the front of the bike that need to be filed down for the bolt to go through. It is a very tight fit for the adaptor!
Just got done installing my 08 R1 shock and satan adapter. Install was very easy with the included instructions. Longest part was the little bit of filing to make the adapter fit perfect. Still waiting to get my front forks back from Traxxion with the AK-20 upgrade before I can test it out...
04-06 R1 shock works good for riders up to 190# and the 07-08 R1 shock works to 220#. 09 and up shocks won't clear the voltage regulator under the seat. First information was taken from the satan666 thread for the adaptor from another forum. Hope this helps.
Went for the first ride of the year after it rained a couple times and got all the salt off of the roads. First time driving after dirt road seat mod, lower cowl and new FP levers. Was very impressed with the seat. Now pulling the forks off and sending them out tomorrow for a full ak-20...
