Mine's also a cut down factory screen. Just used painters tape to mark it, and then used a scribe, followed by a dremel cut off wheel and some sanding to finish and round it off, turned out really well.

Thanks for the heads up on the pipes, I'll be sure to do that! I was thinking about wrapping them, until I found a thread talking about the exhaust wrap holding in moisture and corroding them of course!

Hey everyone, figured I should introduce myself, buying my FZ1 from one of my best friends when I get back from this deployment soon so he can upgrade to the S1000RR! Anyway, can't wait for the bike, I've ridden it before and he's done enough work for me to not have much left! =D Been lurking on...
