I looked at this to, the issue is mounting it, being there is no good place for it besides the handle bars where my gps sits. The wind screen does not over a place for it eather, and you have to see and hear the alerts. My cobra just came with suction cups.
I have found that the #1 is the car hooking a left across your lane, they all roll half way through the intersection with no sign of really stopping, the other stunt is just roll your car half way on the street with intent timing from any parking lot. "endless" like i got no brakes in this...
it just seems like the motor is a little weak from a stand still, esp. below 3000rpm, i just want a little more pop down low were it will matter. The bike only has 9000 miles on it, i don't believe it has carb issuse and besides it would be running like crap if it did.
Looking for the torque on the front sprocket nut for the 01. Going with the 15T instead of the 16T, the bike really stalls off the line and takes a lot of clutch, no good...

I just filled my resevoir with walmart supertec 50/50. I think the motor oil is way more inportant then the anti freeze brand, anything will probably do fine.

Im going with my Garmin nuvi 40 gps which is a fine auto ops gps. Ordered the $6 handle bar mount off ebay and a 12v outlet mounted by the battery, no splicing needed, so you can switch back and forth.
I have a little bit of the same problem, on my 01 with the danmoto pipe, the stand is now resting against the mid pipe, witch hasn't been a problem just every time i hit a bump the stand clangs against the pipe, kind of anoying!

I want to crank in the rear preload, because I'm like 280 you know, any ways I'm hammering on that ring castle nut on top of the spring and it won't budge.:looseit: Is that not the way to crank the preload in, what am i doing wrong here...
