I have a set, they work great best investment when riding with my wife on her FZ6. They have a good range and are crystal clear.

painting heat shields I painted mine with brake caliper heat paint it comes in many colors. I painted mine black like the 2010 FZ1. Just sand it with a fine grit sand paper around a 360. No problemswith it staying on over the summer last year. Hope it helps.

I have the lower fairings on my 2006, I agree they look great. The only issue I have with it is during oil change. Hard to get at the filter. I usually remove the fairing to complete the oil change.

Her is my red 06 with the lower fairings they offer great wind protection and look awesome.

Just put mine away today for along winters nap. Now I will be content on writing here and looking for this years mods for the spring. Love those mods especially with the Canadian dollar climbing it becomes more economical to order for the lovely USA. :sinister:
