Yeah, I remember it raining quite a bit last year. It looks like it might be a little bit better this year, or so I am hoping. I'm heading up there after work on Friday around five or six o'clock.
I passed a red second gen FZ-1 on my way home from Saratoga today on I-87 S, not sure if it...
I've been looking at the PC3's of late, but now that I see this thread I think I'll wait to see how this turns out. Seems like a viable option for a daily rider.
Rather than start a new thread for Americade 2011, I figure I'll just jack this one. With Americade less than a week away, I'm just wondering how many of you are planning on heading up there? I am, but I'm not yet sure which day(s).
That is a sick looking bike! Congrats on the purchase, I don't think you'll be disappointed in the slightest. I've only owned one sport bike in the past, but after my FZ I'll never go back to another one. I can't tell you how badly I want to convert mine to the S look, but for now I just...
I've never had powdercoating done, nor gotten quotes for work, but if you ask me, $30 seems quite reasonable! Powercoating looks so much better than spray paint, so for me it would be a no-brainer.
That is a very nice picture. Old family family photos like that are rare gems, I'm glad you got to come home with one. Now you can save it for generations to come!
I've had the misfortune of seeing this video before as well. Made several people at the party want to vomit. So nasty. I can't believe that girl is touching that with her bare hands too!
I just got my Corbin seat last week and I love it. I took a ride to VA on July 4th weekend and as soon as I got to my destination I ordered the seat. On the stocker I'd be sore after about 70 miles. I haven't given the Corbin a real test yet, but I rode to Cooperstown on Sunday for the...
I tried this but I don't think it's going to work out for me. I have a quick release on my helmet strap which makes it tough. I can get the seat locked with the helmet attached as you describe, but it's a tight fit, and requires a good deal of force both to latch an unlatch the seat.
I'll...
The things that goes through people's minds...
I'll admit, I've texted before while riding, but only at city riding speeds. Of course that's no excuse. I couldn't begin to imagine lying back on the bike as if it were a La-Z-Boy while also texting/talking on the phone in traffic as busy as...
That's terrible! I'm glad you're OK but that sucks. I hope they know who hit you so that they can be penalized is some fashion. It won't fix you or the bike, but it's a start. I'm anxious to see how the bike came out of all this.
