Just got around to getting some pictures of the mods i've done over the last month or two. First mod was to the mirrors, affectionately known as the Fuzzy mirror mod on FZ1OA. It pushes the mirrors down to the sides instead of being upright. Next, put on a Puig racing screen. Makes highway...

i have a gen I which the seating is different, but i enjoy 2up riding. No difference in the power, just slightly in low speed handling. GF loves it, and even with her super long legs its not uncomfortable for her.

That is a clean XJR, love the looks on both bikes

I use the 'ol WD-40 for cleaning the chain off and then Dupont Teflon Chain lube, which can be bought at most hardware stores....cheap and works well IMO.

Sweet, im glad you finally got to experience the whole motor Mean 1 ! The damn things really come alive from 8-11.5 rpm's! It is a totally different monster in the upper rpm's. My riding buddies always know when I'm winding her up b/c they say it gets really loud and mean soundin as I blow by em!

I wear ear buds so I can listen to MP3's thru my phone whenever I ride farther than 1/2 hr or so. They definitely help cut down noise, but the music is so loud im not sure that it helps cut my hearing loss! I have grown up shooting skeet and sporting clays and wear $150 + hearing protection...

I'm on the fence, while I think the above paint job rocks, the bike looks kinda short and kinda weird. Its just not that sexy :puke:

The cat is my troublemaker, Basco...he is a seal point siamese. Then there is my black lab Tiki in the pool, and the midget dog is my black lab/basset mix Cal !

I'm definately a novice when it comes to FZ1 wheelies...my #'s are definately in the low teens :innocent: I have done thousands on dirt bikes and have friends who have done tons on their street bikes and havent seen any ill effects...aside from some scraped up bikes and some bruised egos!
