Hey, I am 5'10" and a bit muscular and work out regularly, still my Daytona completely beats me up even after 150 miles in the twisties. You can tour on them by getting used to certain riding position and keep constantly adapting and adjusting but you won't know how much of a workout that is...

There is truth to this. I can ride my Daytona naturally faster than the FZ1 in the twisties even without trying...

Problem is that you would never realize how good it is until you do it or try a flashed FZ1. As for the mods - they are not that expensive PC - $250 Exhaust - $300 or the cheap ebay versions for $150 Airbox, flies, cat gut is DIY.... All the above is even cheaper if you buy used like I did ..
