I have the one from clear alternatives. Just as pricy but you dont have to cut any wires. Just plug your light plug into it. Cant remember on how the signals hooked in but I will look when I get home. I would make sure the one you get requires as littlw wire cutting as possibe.

Can't be many miles on them, says 06 with 9000 on it. Would start by pulling the plugs to inspect them and check the gap, doesn't cost anything but your time if you can do it yourself. If not that, do you think the bike is turning over fast enough? when the starter is hot it may be lacking the...
Healtech's website has an online calculator, they say typically a factory gauge is off by +5.5%, and the difference in dropping a tooth on the front sprocket would be -5.9%. Going by what they say, your factory gauge may be more accurate after dropping a tooth.
wouldn't think so unless you have been running real lean for a long time, should have noticed other things before failure. Good idea to get a air to fuel gauge that you can run or at least stick in the exhaust when you do much changing to the maps and putting on mods if you don't want to dyno it...
Companies will charge as much as people will pay. If more people would shop around and stop buying the newest and the best the demand for new items would go down and the prices would drop. bought my fz new from a dealer in 2010, 08 fz1 and they dropped the price 3000 from the sticker price and...
It's not the problem of running no battery, it's the problem of the load a dead or bad battery will put on the electrical system. If he took the battery completely off and jumped the bike and it is the battery causing it it should run fine without a battery.
Just a thought on the overheating...
you could put stacks on, but you need some type of fuel management on the bike first. An there isn't really a need for them unless you get that plug out of the exhaust, the oem guys call it a muffler. Just makes no sense to open up the intake side and not the exhaust, so the air box mod will...
The extra power down low is because of the exup valve in the stock exhaust, regulates back pressure to get more down low. With a slip on you will get more up top because your increasing air flow which it needs up top. If it's running the map for the slip on you might be running a little rich...
Next mods in my opinion should be the air box mod and a slip on. Then check to make sure your not running to lean. Would get a PCV or a juice box for it before you do any more.
If it's the part under the engine it's probably just getting hot because that's where the cat is. Don't know about the newer fz1s but the collector under the engine on mine was never a nice looking chrome finish. Even my headers in front of the engine that were chromed went through a phase where...
Does the header still have the cat in it? Just useful info if someone was wanting to go back completely stock.
Also there was a post yesterday in parts wanted looking for one.

I always play nice. Good idea to put those things in consideration. But was making a joke out of it, why i said "come on". Though it was funny that after 7 days it was bumped and no one wanted to find one.
Your bike in front of a parking meter.
After 7 days I would say change it. The point in the game is to get people out riding and give them something fun to do. Can't think of many people that would want to spend there precious riding time in areas where you would find shanties or parking meters. Come on.
I wouldn't worry about it, not like it is that strong of a pump. If you could get to the wires you could always just unplug it. Will have to unplug it to remove it anyway.
Your welcome. I'm a OTR truck driver and i think that one is sold at some truck stops. A lot of drivers are buying it themselves just for assurance, with all the new fmcsa rules and the driver rating system they have in place. And with commercial vehicles when there is a wreck it's always the...
