Just used that set up on my 3800 mile trip to Yellowstone and they worked great. I plan on ordering the bluetooth device their coming out with soon.

Rode it (Goldwing) nearly 3000 miles since last Friday. Chill'n in Durango now and will start back to Texas on Friday. First time to see Yellowstone and it's awesome.

I bought a different cable (USB port) and it does the same thing. After 90 seconds mine goes into map mode. It's a bit of a pain but you might try that if you haven't already.

Welcome from another 50 year old Texan. Enjoy the FZ, I'm love'n mine. I got on my Triumph Speed Four today just to blow the cob webs out and thought to myself, "where's the power"?!

We had a pretty spirited ride, but I did let him lead. The day I got pulled over I had rode over 300 miles going speeds that makes the FZ happy. When I pulled into town I guess my internal speedometer was off a bit because I know not to speed in town. There are more police, sheriffs, highway...

I didn't think to ask him, just met him not long ago. The first time we met he pulled me over for speeding....:ugh:

1st ride with a fellow FZ'er. Great ride, 140 miles and 75 degrees. Mine is the black one.

I'm about 2 hrs north of where the bad storms hit. We had a pretty bad hail storm which left it's marks on my 2011 truck which pisses me off, but at least my house is still standing.

Lucky for me I'm further North although I did get some hail damage to my new truck whick pails in comparrison to what some are going through. It's a hell of a storm when you see tractor's trailers flying through the air.
