I commute 70 miles a day.....never really cared about mileage as it is twice as good as driving my truck.
I use a back pack with office clothes. Also have a tank bag and soft luggage but really back pack has never bothered me even carrying a lap top.
I use a mid windshield, I find being 5-7 it...
Can someone please confirm if on high beam there is power to both sides of switch, low beam only one side?
Also looked all over for relay and only one I can find is on left side behind the side cover, this looks like a multi function relay can you confirm that this is also is for headlights...
so cleaned the switch and then checked the switch on high beam power to yellow wire on low no.power. So it seems not to be switch can someone tell me were the relay is for low beam as I.am thinking that is the problem.
thanks
Thanks guess just add it to the weekend work list.
Was hoping it to be a at home fix it item so that it leaves me cash to buy the holeshot header that I have been contemplating.
Just wondering if this is a common problem, noticed today that my low beam was off. High beam worked but I had to switch it on and off a few times to get the low beam to come on.
I am thinking switch, will take it about and spray with electrical contact cleaner.
Another option would be go North from Spokane to Trail...then Creston, Cranbrook, Radium, Golden, Salmon Arm, Kelowna and either to Vancouver or work your way back via Osoyoos to Washington.
Have riden that loop absolutely amazing and not soooo many police at all.

X2 I had a vibration / wobble develop at about 85mph turned out it was a flat spot on a worn back tire. I would have never guessed it would give the front end a shake but it did.
Today I filled up at 175 miles with the fuel light on. I have gotten 200 but the is running on fumes. I commute about 60 miles per day 3/4 on highway usually passing slower traffic lol.
I decided to service my EXUP today and low and behold when I went to loosen the last allen bolt holding it in it snapped guess I will drill it out and tap in a m8 bolt. Is this a common problem and what are you doing so this does not happen again use anti seize compound?
