    Yamaha Has Officially re-claimed FZ1-forum.com

It's likely that the name FZ1 Forum was targeted instead of FZ1 Owners Association because of the inclusion of Owners. I noticed the tag line now says FZ1 Owners Forum. Just a douchey legality and they are likely dropping the Fz1 model soon anyway.

    I don't Hahaha

    Supercharged Kawasaki H2

Funny guy. Unfortunately my credentials in the motorcycle world have not allowed me to ride all of the bikes. Like most who window shop before buying these thoughts are based on styling, tech and spec info. If only opinions were left to just first hand experience then imagine how many...

    Supercharged Kawasaki H2

    I'll list the bikes I would rather have over the H2 in order (2014-2015 models) R1 > Super Duke R > S1000R > S1000RR > R1M > R6 > RSV4 > my current Fz1 (she still gets love every where I go) I think every bike I listed is 50-100 pounds lighter. The new R1/R1M/Super Duke R/S1000RR all have...

    Bridgestone T30

I've used all those tires with the exception IIf the T30s. As of right now PR4 Is my favorite for fun time grip and mileage. It is a great balance between the ride/mileage of the PR3 and the PP3 grip for a street performance tire. Looking back the S20 seemed a little soft and to wear quickly by...

    Bike security chains & locks

Someone attempted to steal my bike on Sunday. All they did was break the ignition cylinder disabling the bike. I live at a apartment complex and am still there till May. So for the security I decided to add a couple of things Grip Lock Bully Locks - Locks For Motorcycles, ATV and UTV and...

Just got an FZ1 and I hate it.

I'm 6'4" and 230. I find the seat ok for about an hour or 2 hours. I get on average 32 mpg (30-34 in town) and the best I ever got was 40 mpg when I was riding through the mountains of western CO using 85/86 octane. As previously suggested scoot your butt back and give yourself a slight lean...

    2015 FZ1 Released

With the introduction of a new R1, the Fz09, YZF-R3, FJ-09, and the likes. The Fz1 is a dinosaur. However the all black paint scheme gets me excited. Black makes everything better and faster.

    YZF-R3 -- 321cc sportbike. USA-bound, too!

I was thinking the 300 class may be fun for a track bike as suggested because of having to learn better riding skills to be able to keep good times. I don't think I would like a 300 for commuting. I test rode the Ninja 300 2 years ago and it was annoying for the way I ride. I think the shift...

anyone use tank pad or grip tape on tank?

I have the Stompgrip. Love the grip. The negatives, after 34,000 miles the edges are coming unglued (PHX heat likely the cause), and the grip is so good it wears out the inner thigh seems of my jeans and pants that I wear riding the most. I'm a commuter for work on my Fz1 and there is no way...

    Fz1 Abuse

Saw this video today and it made me cringe while laughing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1Vog43oxoM&feature=youtu.be I don't know about you guys, I do find the bike has a high center of gravity.

I think that would help. Need a little more building to afford them. In a couple months it should be good to at least hire a front desk girl.

    Paging Ssky0078

I'm just over 34,000 miles. I've consolidated where I work so I'm no longer having 60-80 mile days. Also have not had any trips this summer. I'm experiencing the phenomenon other riders describe when you ride for work that pleasure riding decreases. I should get back into fun riding in the next...

Tyres Michelin pilot road 4 or Bridgestone T30

I have had PR2's (8,000 miles), PR3's (10,000 miles) and PR4's (5,000 miles). I have also ran Power 3's and S20's As of right now the PR4's are the best balance of long life and fun in the twisty. I hated the PR2's as they had the hardest front tire and I felt the least comfortable on them. The...

    Paging Ssky0078

Hello Dustin, Pete, Eric and everyone else. I have been away for awhile. I've been way too busy. I got the bright idea to open a second clinic in April doing full service concierge medicine. Mainly I'm doing hormone replacement therapy, nutrition/weight loss and PRP/stem cell injection...

I sat on the Tuono and RSV4 back to back. Didn't notice but maybe an inch difference in handlebar/grip height. Wasn't impressed. Still waiting to sit on an S1000R
