It's not the worst fueling in the business. FZ6 is worse. FZ9 is much much worse. Hope you love the bike as much as most of us here do!

NICE!!! I demo'd the 14 Z1000 just few weeks ago and found it to be a great laugh! SO much power.. short wheelbase.. flickable.. just super fun!! The one thing that annoyed me: the bike I rode made a farty/plastic-rattling noise on decel.. I hope yours doesn't do that :D

This is true.. I didn't get the BMW up to redline.. I think 11k is as high as I went. If the bike will mostly be used for street, it's all huge overkill. Few tenths of a second in a quarter mile hardly make a difference for street use. As been said by others, to original poster.. go with one...

What Pete said, plus search for "mid ohio track day" on youtube. Watch onboard cam to get an idea for the track (not necessary at all, but won't hurt).

I can give you a point of reference: I bought my 07, nearly completely stock with 8k miles on it, 2.5 years ago for 5k even.
