I love seeing bikes you don't typically see everyday myself and that's why enjoy bike nights so much. Even when I go to Americade I always find some fascinating machinery there among the sea of H-Ds.
They are held in place by the same bolts that attach the front calipers so make sure you properly torque them again after removing the reflectors. You don't want those bolts falling off!

It's your choice and it will probably make a minimal difference anyway. You're already removing the cat inside the stock muffler, not to mention losing at least 10-12 lbs in the process.
I have installed them both with the wheels on and off the bike and will never do it with the wheels on again. To me it's worth it to just take the wheels off to install them even if you're not replacing the tires.
Yea it was clean, but was only a street bike, not a race bike. I spoke to the owner for a while. As Billy mentioned he has quite a collection of bikes including five, yes five RZ500s :D
Glad I could help you out buddy! That was definitely a great score for that price. That part has long been discontinued from Yamaha so it's practically impossible to find (at least here in the US).
