Yep, he is either red hot or very very cold. he was the same at Yamaha and Suzuki. The Aprilla's are fast, the riders are just not as consistent as Martin or Fabio. I predict that outside of some growing pains with a new factory Jorge will be consistently at the top on the Aprilla.

Aliex Espargaro showed that the Aprilla is fully capable to keeping up with the Ducati's. Congrats to him on a great career and his retirement from racing. Jorge is the man. I really hope he runs the #1 on the Aprilla next year and repeats the title.

I really think what you are seeing is Maverick doing Maverick things. He was inconsistent on the Suzuki and Yamaha when those were some of the best bikes on the circuit. He has been inconsistent on the Aprilla. Aleiz has his head out the door in retirement and is not gonna get himself hurt...

The problems at Aprilla are a very inconsistent Vinale's and Aleix with his eyes on retirement. Jorge is gonna give the Ducs a run on the Aprilla. I have a feeling the Yamaha will be competitive next year as well. Fabio knew what he was doing by renewing his contract.

I certainly hope Jorge can keep it on two wheels and bring home that number 1 plate. After Ducati snubbed him for MM he deserves to rub it in their face all next year.

I would be curious to see photos of the pattern on a standard bulb compared to the beam Techs.
