Anyone putting new rear brake pads on for the season? This would considerably improve them if so.
I really don't want to have to throw this perfectly good brake line into my huge box of FZ1 parts. I would much rather see it get used....
I have a brand new Goodridge Stainless Steel braided rear brake line for a 1st Gen FZ1. Measures 23 inches overall with a two 35 degree banjos. I bought it with a set of front lines however it looks like i got the gen1 instead of the gen2 as this one will not fit on my bike because it doesn't...
I have a Hennessy and love it! Super compact light and servers two purposes. Also since its close quarters it keeps you warm if needed or nice and cool without the fly. Check em out see what you think.
Hennessy Hammock
Caught this today and thought I would share. Personaly I think its a great concept. Its a better design for comfort and control, it would take some getting used to though. This is already the throttle method for many quads and most personal watercraft.

Check out the thread I started to share my experience with Motodynamics and my intergated tail light.

Its rare for me not to see triple digits when on the FZ1. Not saying I ride there all the time but I like the way the bike feels and performs in the higher revs. Also my gearing changes the equation, :) I get there even faster! Yet i still rarely use 6th. Its not for everyone, as i learned from...
When the high temp for the day is below 45 im done. My season Usually runs from mid April to mid October here in central IL. I too am hoping for an Indian summer for one last ride. I don't "winterize" my bike though, just in case its needed as a last resort mode of transportation. I also try to...
Hey Super Googan thanks for the info in the dynojet quickshifter. I have been looking into this for awhile just haven't decided wich one to go with. I have been to the dynojet websight and done some research but cant find the answers im looking for. I was hoping you could answer one more for me...
No problem. Happy to help, i know that link was the deciding factor for me. So many positive reviews and pictures of his work let me know I was making the right decision.
Hint: I know the "search" feature doesn't like to cooperate from your phone, but if you select it and get the drop down...
+ 1 for Eddie! I had a Corbin and hated it, sold it and sent my seats to Eddie and I couldn't be happier. Here is a link with tons of pics and testimonials from his customers. My seats and pics are on the last page.

I wish i would have been smart enough to ask here about them before buying them. I figured for 30.00 it was worth a shot, It wasn't. It took forever for them to arrive and then was nothing but a disappointment from there. When I went to send them back i realized i was sending them back to china...
These mirrors suck! They are cheap chinese junk, that will not mount correctly on the FZ1. There is no way to see out of them when mounted on the bike, they are the completely wrong angle and have very little adjustment. The idea is great the execution is terrible. Unfortunately mirror risers...
I will be posting a picture of the lot later tonight, and can pm you additional ones if needed. It is a no name part from eBay, my wife ordered it for me without me knowing in an effort to help. It however was not what I wanted as i like oem for working parts. Never even tried to install it just...

I didn't think any one would want them. The right one is fine, no damage works well. However the left one is loose at its base, and it could not be tightened. It has no cosmetic damage but vibrates to the point you can not see out of it. Its the reason i replaced them. If you are interested in...
We do indeed. I was really hoping to make it for the last ride your guys took around the lake, but family stuff put a halt on that. My son came about a month early and provided a very hectic end to my summer. The 2.5 year old and newborn tends to keep my weekends full lately. But I have been...
Glad you guys gave it a chance, I figured you would love them, i know i do. Like i said its just trial and error with the install but overall pretty simple. Now you can lock your throttle for all those stand up stunts you do, lol. :justkidding:
