Sorry for the thin veiled attitude Dustin, I am indeed new to riding (probably around 15,000km of experience) but I am however quite familiar with traffic patterns.
Edit: Looks like this thread has dead-ended, I'll hunt the forums for for a site that lists bulb replacement numbers and post it...
Meh, opinions... I wasn't insinuating that I'm a careless rider, I would just like to give warning to the people behind me that traffic is slowing from 80 to null. Which it does if you've commuted the #1 during rush hour. Im more worried about the other people not paying attention, not...
Yeah, thats pretty much the same as what I had in the original link. Unfortunately it doesnt have the modulating brake light which I'm more interested in. I think I'll just replace the incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs and get that BackOFF box...
I'm thinking this is the way to go. The description of the integrated light that I linked in the first post warns (Edit: the ones on ebay) that the LED lights arent as bright as the stock incandescent bulbs... Anyone know if THESE are a brighter than stock? These with the BackOFF box should be...
Is there anything out there that does this...

Thanks, that was in Manning Park on the #3. Rode out to Kelowna on Sunday around 10am. Crowsnest through to Osoyoos, 97 up through Penticton and Kelowna, then over to Merrit and Coquihalla back to Hope and home before dinner.
Got the new tires on Saturday, rode to Squamish and decided that...
Well yes and no... I have boots, glove, jacket and pants. I dont wear the pants, they're not terribly comfortable for long trips. Next investment I guess. My HJC isnt the highest in safety rating so maybe an Arai or shoei as well... :S pricey pieces.

Sorry it took so long, weather has been crap here. I should have stopped more to get it in front of some better scenery but the ride was too good :P
Yeah, the shop I went to wants to charge $450~ for the set... curious how i can get them online for $340 and I bet thats still not the lowest they can be found for.
Thanks for the advice!
Hello,
Very new to the riding scene, never had to give much thought about tires until owning a bike... So I've been recommended the Michelin Pilot Road 2s and the reviews seem to back it pretty well. While ordering the tires, it gives me a list of sizes to choose from.
Michelin Pilot Road...
Hello,
I just purchased an 01 FZ1, I've been reading these forums for a couple days, very useful info indeed! I figured I would join as I will likely be asking many questions in the near future. Also, I'm a relatively new rider, 1yr experience.
First question:
Bought the bike for...
