Bought this beauty in Feb 2011 with 1300 miles on her, now has 6300. Just rode it 500 miles this weekend. Very nice condition. Never been dropped.

Anyway, now that I'm home. I want to do a Blue Ridge Parkway camping trip. After yesterday, though, I don't know if I still want to do it this year because once it's in the 60s or colder I'm friggin cold. Also don't know if I can spend the money on gear before it's totally too cold.
Tape on my knee is because I crashed my sportster at deals gap two years ago and haven't bought new pants haha.
They have a coast to coast in 50hrs challenge I'd like to do but we'll see...

Bike has sargent seat and hwy pegs. I didn't get a pair of bike shorts. I thought about it and looked at them, but the padded area is so small since it's made for a bike seat, I was afraid it would make pressure...
Attempting the Iron Butt Association "Saddlesore 1000" this Saturday with my friend who rides a BMW R1200RT.
Have a few routes planned out, we will chose one tomorrow. Will either be a straight out-and-back or a circle.

It's so effed up now that I'm not sure there is enough screw material left, but I will try. I will either need a small diameter wheel on the dremel or end up cutting into the plate rotating shaft since they are counter-sunk, right?
Also, what about metal filings falling into the throttle body?
Alright guys, I need help! I got a mini torch and it works great. Problem is, one of the screw heads is totally farked up from when I was trying to do it without the torch and with crappier drivers. It's just like a big crater now.
Suggestions? This sucks... I can't get a good grip on it...
