    Always use a flat paint and spray the inside fo the shield then the outside looks gloss

    I have used a competition werks fender eliminater kit. It is easy to install and looks great.

    I also Live in FL. Lowered my wifes FZ1 got the lowering link from Cycle One-Off. He has 1'' or 2'' very easy to install.
