Hamie i like the early spring and fall riding....and ride all winter on it....love the cold...these bikes are like sitting on a damn oven in Texas heat....man i have ridden all my life with a tank top and shorts with sneakers....blue jeans in the winter....not a leather riding suit guy...

Nice Bike; I'm 58 and my poor bike has been sitting in the garage on a float charger for about two weeks now....Think I will hire someone to ride it for me this summer....I can't cut the heat anymore....

Cheapest I have seen the B-Kings around here is 7k.....yea 08 is the only year....I have a friend in McKinney Tx.....owns one.....its a bad dog !.........bike scared hell out of me and I thought I was not scared of anything....lol....!!!!....I want to say it has the Busa engine..

MX I am sure you will find someone in your area...I would start by going to the dealerships in your area; most around here will let you ride and get a good feel for most any bike....(((((Go and look at a Suzuki B-King; their just as fast if not faster...))))) lot of good used ones out there....

Try and find you one with the modifications already done to it....after market exhaust, power commander, airbox mod. but not necessary....Exhaust for sure...fender eliminator would be nice too.....I have a 06 and its the perfect bike...

Man i have heard of that happening but never actually seen it..yea its plenty hot here in DFW area......I rode today and it was plenty warm.....When i park in the sun i make sure which way the sun is pointing; you can tell if its a direct hit on the shield....just have to watch out for it...

I got one of them Crampbusters and it helps a whole lot....

Doko that could be a number of things, first comes to mind is the cooling fan area, blade making noise or motor......I would put that bike on the center stand and start at the front and work my way back, checking every bolt, clip, hanger on the bike....might be something simple....

I'm 6 ft. 180 and 58 years old...and ride a 06....man I don't know where your getting the vibration from; my bike has no vibration at any speed....hands never go numb.....I don't really like the seat but can't justify buying a better one cause I don't ride it that much....when my butt goes numb...
