My brother is the head parts guy for a local honda dealership. He's a huge fan of ICON, heres his collection.

Found an 07 with 2k miles on it for $5k. But after he sent me pics I could see the rear disc were badly rusted, some scratches by the rear passenger grab handles and one on the tank. Big thing was the oil drips on the driveway. Says it was overfilled at the dealer during its last oil change...

So the OTD price for that fz is just under $8500. Weird thing though is I found the exact same bike on ebay. Ebay price is $7687, wonder if there are any hidden fees on their ebay price Yamaha : FZ Yamaha : FZ | eBay

local stealership has a 2010 just like that. I am debating on trying to make a deal on that on or find an all gray one. Looks good though.

I just sold my 82 gs650 last summer.

I never even thought about the fees that could be added on. One out in michigan is an 09 blue still in the crate. Which means they could add some serious fees is my guess.

I just sent an email to a dealer in michigan with a gray 09 for $6990. Hoping to get some pictures from them and also hoping it isn't the two tone with the black and gray. From what I've seen shipping from most places is around $500. Which I don't think is too bad. Thanks for watching...

I could call them but I about got burnt on a pickup once by doing the same thing. I called a place about a 4x4 toyota I saw an ad for. I couldn't see from the pictures what condition the tires were and if the engine had any leaks, so I called them. They told me the tires might have 10k miles...
