I agree, suspension before HP.
In auto racing we always worked on brakes / suspension before HP because you have to be able to control the HP. No reason the same should not apply to motorcycles especially since on a bike you only have two wheels.

- I believe my 2013 is the same color as your 2009. How close does the blue color on the bags come to matching the color of the bike?

On some motorcycles ABS brakes can take more work because of the ABS module.
Since we don't get the FZ1 with ABS here in the states I'm not sure what type of ABS system Yamaha uses on the bike. But you may find some helpful information in these Google search results...
I agree. I just picked up a used Zero Gravity Touring Screen from a member here and it's been to cold to install it. So those pictures really helped me to visualize what the difference will be.
Now I really want to get it installed.

I might add that when removing and replacing the tail section be VERY careful of the little tabs on the bottom side of the tail section that the grommets clip into. They snap off easier than you think they would. Mine broke when putting the tail back on.
