On some motorcycles ABS brakes can take more work because of the ABS module. Since we don't get the FZ1 with ABS here in the states I'm not sure what type of ABS system Yamaha uses on the bike. But you may find some helpful information in these Google search results...

I might add that when removing and replacing the tail section be VERY careful of the little tabs on the bottom side of the tail section that the grommets clip into. They snap off easier than you think they would. Mine broke when putting the tail back on. Jon…
