Thanks for the advise! Good as new and ready to roll. It's amazing how technology will sneak up on you! This is the first bike I've had that didn't have a center stand so I didn't even think to check that. It should be a nice sunny weekend. I'll post a picture of my bike. Thanks again.

Thanks! I'll check for the switch in the morning. Is it a pressure switch? Can I find a picture of it in the owners mannual (downloaded version)?

This is my first FZ. What kick stand switch? My last bike was an 84 Honda NighthawkS so I'm a little behind on current technology... Will the engine automatically kill if the kick stand is down when shifted into gear? Is there a switch under the bike I should check?
