Great report, Rex. I ride with a modular helmet, Shoei Multitec, so it is nice to hear a report were a modular was in a real wreck and worked.

I call BS. You need to look very carefully at the method used to determine "equal". The best report I have ever read was done by a police department where they took same age, same sex, same skill, all combined with miles driven and found motorcycles to be involved in fewer accidents.

No, not at all. But the CD screen is not designed to block all the wind, just smooth it. So it really is important to decide what you expect from a screen before choosing one. For my own use, I do not want to stop the wind, just control it a bit.
