Glad to hear you guys made it back safely! You were welcome to take some of our 90+ degree heat and no rain for weeks back with you, if you wanted...haha.
I had a great time just shooting the bull with you guys and that first attempt at putting the bike in the trailer (and waiting for the...
Clyde and I have agreed in principal on a deal for the bike. He will be travelling down from Michigan to Kentucky to pick up the bike this weekend. I'll update this listing once the sale is complete.
Wow, I'll have to go look up your thread. Glad to see you're doing well, though. I'll get back into riding again soon but I've had other interests take over for now (as well as a lot of home improvements going on).
Keep us updated on the bike, though!

Hey Lonney. I'm not planning to part anything out. Sorry.
Hey man! How have you been? I haven't been around much but it's good to see you again. Hope all is well! Thanks for the bump, too. [emoji4]

BIKE HAS BEEN SOLD. THANKS CLYDE! ENJOY HER!
I've decided to get out of riding (at least for this year), so it's time this beauty moves on to her new home. The bike is mint...never been dropped, been down, etc. She's also never been tracked, though with all the performance mods she has, she's...
This is great advice. I, too, moved from my '06 FZ6 to a '09 FZ6 this past spring and haven't regretted it a bit. I paid $6k (private sale) and the bike had 6k miles on it when I bought it. Here's where I scored big...the bike already had every performance mod imaginable done to it, including a...
[SOLD] '06 and up Corbin Gunfighter saddles
SOLD
These have seen maybe 10 hours of seat time (my butt seems to prefer the stock seat). New from Corbin you'd be looking at paying nearly $450 for the set. I'm asking $325 shipped to CONUS for both.
PM me with any questions or interest. FYI...
Yep, that's my buddy John on our Gap trip last month. It's a Speed Triple R with a custom painted Gen II FZ1 fairing attached. The bike is absolutely GORGEOUS in person.
Lone, what an inspiring post. I'm sorry to hear about your wife, but your spirit is amazing and I love that you plan to carry on with the plans you all made together before she passed. Good on ya and all the best!
I absolutely couldn't agree with this statement more. I've been saying for years that personal finance should be a core class in high schools. My parents, while they did a great job of raising me, could've done a better job of teaching me personal financial lessons so I didn't have to learn...
I just got mine in from JDA a week or so ago, and I did notice they're a little off-center (but they don't seem to be as bad as yours). Frankly, I didn't notice they were labeled as left and right, so I may have to swap them and see if that's any better.
I hope you get them straightened out...
I was just there 2 weekends ago (we make it down about twice a year) and it was great as usual. One thing I didn't get to do on this trip is the Cherohala Skyway. I love that road!
If you're going to spend any time on the Gap, be aware that the police presence seems to be higher than usual...
