I replaced my stock plugs last week in my 2006 with 20k miles. Were still in great shape. Noticed no difference with the new plugs

Should be ok with everything besides the brake hose may be tight. Others have rerouted the other cables and made them work. I didn't even have to do that on my 2006

Nice I actually would consider one of those if I was ready to upgrade yet. One concern if that is an 'adventure' bike though. To me the header and exhaust didn't look to have any more clearance than my Gen 2
