What did you do to your FZ today?

Man I can't wait to be posting "what I did today's" in this thread again!!! :woot:

I suppose I could post up a pile of parts waiting for a bike to be put on after the next week or so of FedEx and UPS deliveries!!! :nana:

I know just how you feel buddy! Don't worry cause the day will be here soon enough! I have a little parcel from a dear friend arriving tomorrow from Fed-Ex. I can't wait!

80 degrees today, so I took advantage and got in 82 miles in a spirited, I'm lucky I didn't get a ticket kind of pace. The bugs were enjoying the weather as well, I could barely see out of my face shield by the time I got home. Tomorrow the weather turns back to crap, so I feel lucky:woot:

(Technically yesterday, but wth)

I logged a riding day in February! This marks 12 months in a row. I know you Florida and Texas riders don't have to deal with a "riding season" but for those of us in the North, managing 12 consecutive months of riding can often be classified as an achievement! Thanks, Mother Nature!

C'mon Spring!

FZ1 today

Yesterday I uncovered the fizzer and checked the lights (those HALOS are so awesome). But, it was absolutetly spotless (the FZ, I mean) and while it was warm out, the roads still have that corrosive crap on them. The GW is down with a battery that puked on Tuesday (a new one is on order). So, I carefully covered the fizzer back up, plugged the BT back in and got the Helix out for a nice 95 mile ride in February. I can't remember the last time I rode these Indiana highways in the middle of winter ! It's been a really long time.
When I returned on the Helix, I topped off the tank with 1.1 gallons of gas . . . . that was sweet !!

Sounds like a great time. I'm hoping that groundhog will stay out and play today. I don't think he has a big chance of seeing his shadow with all the fog, but that may just where I am, I suppose. If I ever find a cheap T-Max, I'll go scooting with you ;)

Happy Groundhog's Day everybody.

Well that little bastard saw his shadow so we have another 6 weeks of Winter to go :eek5: However, as mild as this Winter has been so far I'm not going to complain ;)

Just changed me plugs for the second time. I cant believe in two weeks will make two years with my FZ.

I feel like a slacker...I haven't even changed my pugs once yet! Bike only has 9500 miles so don't think it's due yet. I did pick up a set of plugs for it already. They are Iridium plugs so I might not change them ever again at the rate I accumulate mileage on the FZ1 :disturbed

Yep I've only done 5500km's and haven't even thought of that yet. May do that when the tank comes up for the new K&N airfilter....

Raising the tank doesnt help. I remove the mounting hardware for the radiator so I can move it around enough to gain access to the plugs. I really helps to have the AIS removed.

Keeping the thread alive...

Today I tracked my 'N' model headlamp kit (should be here tomorrow:tup:), plus ordered a high pipe and 16t sprocket from Dale at Holeshot.

My pocket book is saying :disturbed:flip:, but my mind is saying :rmwl:!
