WOW!!!!
This bike turned out awesome!! You did a great job. I think it's amazing to be able to build something from scratch.
LOL I was at a motorcycle show in Dallas this weekend and they were selling frames for choppers for $1250. LOL Looks like you are way ahead of the curve!! :D

$1250? Damn... I'm still under $300 on the entire build!
But hardly a bike yet. Still gotta at least ride it down my street before I call it more than a pile of parts and scrap metal.

SO CLOSE!
The battery I had for this bike/battery box took a crap. I used this "barrowed" battery to test all the wiring and start the motor. Rear wheel & fender cant be replaced untill the new battery is installed. I plan to get the replacement tomorrow and get this bike ready to ptut in gear and see what happens.

Finished up today. A mild ride on the street but rain and wet prevented me giving it much. Any way here it is...

I pushed the CB back into a corner so I don't hop right into another radical build. I have a couple easy repairs on a coupe bikes and actually wanna get some riding in.

I would totally ride the spokes off that thing!

I have a 1980 Honda CM400A that I want to do something similar to. It has original 1158 miles but found in rough condition. Can run/ did run but after I was gone for a couple years my brother took it out if storage rode it then put it back with out prepping it for storage again so the carbs are shot even after trying to rebuild twice. Dunno what to do. So it'll sit until one day my new wife and I get a house with a garage and I'll strip it and debate on what to do.

Gonna get the daily riders maintained and new rubber mounted on the FZ beore my next project bike (CB750C Cafe-Streetfighter) as well as a couple paying simple jobs.
I rode the snot out of it today. Ended up up at the local bar where a half dozon bikes were parked. I got alot of "what the hell is that?"'s. Was fun. It scoots out pretty good for a 400. Tracks nice, breaking is decent, turns easy as speed. Good times. Just came home to park it before I got so lit that I end up dropping it.

What is your final build total?

Good luck this weekend! Take pictures of the competition so we can offer our own critique and Best in Show (we might be a little biased from the start)!
