Yep .... the original KZ900 back in the mid-70's was the big gorilla of its day ..... 80 hp at the rear wheel which at the time was huge. No one else had anything to touch it. And it was reliable.

Thats a 2008 review BTW. Newer version is, at least according to a number of cycle rags, back on top. . . .

tried and true heavy slugs..can take a beating and come back for more.

most of the newer bikes are so fragile compared to them.
but can out run, out perform. and out shine.
