I'm hoping the weather tomorrow is OK as I have the day off and it's time to put a few more miles on the FZ1.

Sweet. I'm trying to wear mine out so I can put a new set on for my planned trip to PI for the Australian MotoGP in October.

I have also ordered the Evotech FE. If I get stuck fitting it I might have to pick your brains.

I haven't actually put them on yet. Weather and work have been dishing out crap weather when I've been home and have not ridden much since xmas. the way I'm going I wont get them on till the end of the year... although the front tyre is looking pretty worn compared to the front! Although I don't know how that works out???
 
I had 7000mi on the 221 my Deals Gap trip killed them. I have the Q2's on now. 300mi on them 150 are track miles and I cant say that I have had them to their limit. feel awesome.

Oh I must have been very tired last night when I wrote that, I meant to write, compared to my back tyre, which still has lots of tread left. Have a look at this...

Is this a suspension setup thing, or just the way I am riding it, or tyre pressures?

The front only has 2mm left but the rear has at least 5mm.

My Dunlops are almost exactly same wear pattern as yours.....more wear on the front than the rear. I've never experienced this on a bike before......

Ah ok, thanks PK. Yeah it's not like I ring it's neck when I ride but I like the corners and don't scrape pegs.

Just looked at the speedo and I've done 4380km's so far on it.

My k's are about 4600km....sounds like your style is similar to mine. Went for a bit of a ride today and I'm thinking those OEM Dunlops are not too great in the wet!! I'm thinking of the Dunlop Sportsmarts as the next tyres......

Ah, I only ride in the dry on warm days. Too chicken to ride when it's wet.
