SOLD! To another Gen I FZ1 enthusiast.

Selling my beloved FZ (edit: It's a 2002, I always assumed it was a 2001 based on the 08/01 manufacture date on the VIN sticker!) Got a barn-find blue one with ~2000 miles on it last year and it's time to sell this. It's not winning any beauty contests but it's a reliable workhorse that I wouldn't hesitate to drive across the country tomorrow.

Exact mileage unknown, I installed a TrailTech Vapor Enduro computer on it shortly after I bought it in 2012. I recall seeing an old registration record around that time showing 3x,xxx miles, and the current odometer shows 12000. I also inspected the valves way back then and they were all within specification so I didn't make any changes.

Previous owner dropped it and the fairing/cluster and original headlights were swapped for a street fighter headlight with manual fan control. There's a nice dent in the tank that I never fixed. I added a custom LED headlight module inside that street fighter style headlight so there's a flat cutoff (not just a LED bulb in a halogen reflector housing.) Has a silver tire hugger and silver under tail fender eliminator. Has the old FZ1OA RavenRider carb mods (with euro needles, though slides were never drilled and springs were never clipped,) and AIS removed. Regulator/rectifier connector removed and wires soldered together.

Tires are decent, rear was replaced 3 years ago but doesn't have much mileage on it. Front tire tread is ok but it's 10 years old. New clutch cable and fuel filter were installed within the last year. Carbs were just removed and cleaned yesterday, runs perfectly! No gear issues, bike runs and shifts perfectly.

I also have a pair of bar end mirrors, a 5" round LED headlight and bracket, and new micro LED turn signals that are included with the sale.

Photo is old, but it still looks virtually the same except now it has the stock exhaust.

I'll post some current photos once I get a chance to clean it up.

Congrats to both of you
It was his third Gen I... his most recent one had 180K miles before an engine issue. I don't recall what he said the exact issue was, but he mentioned it was a basket case when he bought it with around 80K miles and still managed to put 100K more miles on it within a few years.
