What does this warning mean?

1 always bleed the brakes when you take the calibers off or
2 always bleed the calibers off of the rim/ rotor ?

I think it means IF you've disconnected a caliper, line or MC you may want to consider bleeding the brakes.

This. And you always want to bleed the longest line first which according to this would be the right front brake caliper.
