Please keep us posted on this one Blanchy Very interesting. Good luck

Joined the Michelin Pilot Road 4 club. Hoping they are as good as everyone says.

Finished making a camera bracket. Recently bought a Drift Ghost S action camera and want to get footage from interesting places such as down on the swingarm. Used some RAM mounts bits and other hardware I had laying around to cobble this together.

With some additional lighting from a car waiting at the roundabout, this is the angle mid right hand corner (it was just a quick blatt around the block for the test so couldn't be bothered putting on my boots).

Only out up a screen grab/still. The footage of the ride around the block in near darkness is pretty boring. I need to get out and do a proper ride for good footage.

prepping my FZI for another trackday coming up in August. The prepping consists of checking brakepads, chain slack, removing lights-mirrors, checking crashprotection.

This weekend got all the dust and bugs off that have accumulated over the past two months. Also tried the fairing buzz electrical tape trick, will see how that works out for me! Also installed the Sena SMH10's on Mrs. Soccerguy's and my helmets. Will test that out on the ride into work today.

Ran downstairs this afternoon after work to get the new Shortys installed. After that went so easily I decided to go ahead and install the Two Brothers Pipe, gut the Cat, and if I had time, to start the Block Off Plates. Well I got three out of the four done. The block off plates will have to wait until later in the week.

Started with the new Levers. It was a simple install and they feel great. Very nice quality!

Then I started removing the EXUP Cables from the lower end.

Servo end was next. They came out super easy. Thanks to Copper Dawg's video for the help.

Done!

Removed a very heavy stock exhaust!

I then started gutting the cat which was a big chore! It took over an hour but I finally did it. Of course forgot to snap a photo but trust me it's out! I still have some remnants that I will remove later in the week after bringing the proper tool from work.

All installed and looking very nice. Sweet looking exhaust.

You got it bud, thanks! Oh, and if you want, here is the info on the Levers. As I said, very nice set. Much higher quality than the last pair of Chinese Levers I bought and the price is right. Oh, and I ordered them last Monday and they are here from Hong Kong already! 7 Days! Amazing.

I rode it to work, parked it in the basement & went to check on it in my lunch break. Realised I left the keys in the ignition.... :retard: Glad I still have my bike basically, I don't know what I was thinking this morning, obviously wasn't.

I have done similar. Usually someone starts talking to me about the bike and side-tracks me. Strange sink in the gut then elation that its still there?

So I went back downstairs today to finish pulling that darn Cat! I removed the Two Bros again and started the tedious task of trying to remove the rest of the material. Yamaha really made sure they installed that without the intention of it ever being removed! After about an hour I had removed most of the material and was only left with a small bit around the circumference of the tube. Although the photos don't really show it good, I'd say that over 90% of the Cat is gone which is good enough for me. I buttoned everything up and called it a night.

Saturday is going to be spectacular weatherwise. I think I may have to take a short ride over to Ivan's for a visit. ;)

Looks good billy!! And NOW it begins

I just want to get rid of the throttle snatch so I can enjoy the bike more. I rode Tony's bike over the weekend and after 10 or so miles on his, I was amazed at how smooth the throttle was. I really don't need any other modifications to the bike for how I ride. I'm going to just enjoy and log on the miles pal!

Billy, if you can do it, get a Power Commander and have Ivan flash the ECU. Besides the elimination of the fuel cut, you get a TON more. I wish you were here to put some miles on mine. It's a totally different ride.

I know bud. I'm going to see Ivan first thing Saturday morning to discuss just that. I'm picking up a PC5 while I'm there but don't have the money right now for any flash. Baby steps for me.

You can do better than that. Just use a long bit, patience, and a shop vac.
