school me on slipper clutches

So what parts does a slipper clutch have that a standard clutch doesn't? Is there just different friction plates etc or is there more to it than that?
 
I think they have a rubber sole with a cotton lining. Sometimes there's a decorative bow or a fancy pattern as well

Uh, ya,,,,, it's called a Multistrada! I could be way off but I think basically the slipper clutch won't chirp your rear wheel when downshifting at higher RPM'S? Curious to know another more well educated answer.

I know that much. What I'm wondering is if you can convert a standard clutch to a slipper with a few part swaps...



It appears most of the internals are the same but the basket and gears are different. The expensive parts of course.
