Question on bike worth

Another vote for part-out. Very easy to pull Givi stuff off. I wouldn't bother removing the tail to pull those little brackets out.

For your reference: I got my 07 just over 2 years ago with 8k miles on it in mint shape for $5k in NY. It had Watsen turn indicators and integrated tail. The rest was stock.

So I found a dealership wanting to give me $5000 for my fz1 without luggage on trade and a BRAND NEW 2012 R1 for $11,000 tax's and all.

Think its a fair deal?

Also, anyone really interested in givi's ?

I would maybe push for a bit more. I just got $5,500 for a trade into a much lower MSRP bike. Granted mine was an 09' with fewer miles, but I think you could push them.

Thanks, I actually emailed them last night and said I needed $500 more trade or $500 off bike. Told the salesperson of they did that it's a guaranteed sale.

Givi's are off, as well as stock turn signals back on and stock screen.

Bike looks totally different now. I have a member already interested in my givi, now just got post up the windscreen and flush mount signals in the for sale

I think $6300 and your bike would sell fast. Add the $1000 worth of accessories you can sell on your own and you'll have done well.
It's funny just how different this situation is across the country (or countries). Where I live in the southeastern states, selling anything but a Harley or cruiser is an exercise in futility. Especially in a rural area like mine.

The only good part about where I live is that I have some awesome, relatively car free back roads all to myself. But, selling a sport bike? Better count on trading in at your local dealer.
