Ok so this is back on the table, but I need a little input. I have owned an FZ600 and a FZR400 but anyone have any experience with one of these?

Very Nice
No experience with those other than a serious case of lust back in the day. It really was a huge leap forward in frame design for Yamaha at the time (for street bike anyway). If it is as nice in person as in the pictures the price is reasonable. DO IT!

No experience with the 750, but I think it was very similar to the bigger FZR1000 of the same era. It was just Yamaha's homologation special.
