What did you do to your Non-FZ1 motorcycle today.

Installed my DRC fender delete on the DRZ.

:ditto:

my Gixxer race bitch: I started to sand the damaged parts but what the heck sanded the entire body, and did not remove the stickers. I sanded it with 400grain and she looks now kinda rough but cleaner (?) (will post pics when she's back together.)
Before that I replaced all oils (engine and brakes), replaced oil and air filter, replaced brake pads and put new Dunlop Sportsmart Qualifier RR on her shoes.

Let the race season begin :waiting:

clean naked bike. Also removed the coolant and wil replace with pure demineralized water to get it a good cleaning. Plan is to replace with normal water with race coolant additive which is not slippery when spilled.
Fairing ready to be repainted, but due to lack of time I reckon first trackday will be still without paint

Corbin seat on. Initial impressions are very, very good. Not only is it firmer, the seat is dished to support you better and it's also much taller than the OEM one. You sit higher up and it puts your legs and arms in a better position. The high rise OEM bars were a bit too high with the stock smushy seat but now I get a nice forward lean being over top the tank more

Nice!! :icon_beer:

I picked up a used Yamaha Gel Comfort seat for the R1. I had one on my previous 07 and loved it. Feels better on the tush and it looks good too. This one is still like new!!

I put 2 more trackdays on the Zixxer this past weekend for a total of 4 this year. Not my best weekend. The cold morning were a nightmare. A friend crashed trying to follow me the very first session on saturday. Traction was hard to be had. Never really got into a groove so I dumped the crappy video I did have. They did let me play in the big boy group on saturday. On sunday I asked to be moved down. I just didnt feel loose on sunday and had a hard time keeping pace. :(

!0 days till my next 2 more

I put a few hundred miles on the Corbin. Love it. I can actually relax in the saddle without any soreness. With the OEM seat, I would put weight on my bars and pegs to keep my butt light in the saddle. There was no relaxing because if I relaxed and planted my butt down on the old seat, I'd get pressure points and soreness pretty quickly. Now, I can plop my ass down and keep my feet and arms lighter.

Moving the Hawk in another direction. I finished the Viffer rear spindle and wheel and put a F2 wheel up front. I damaged the 2 brothers system I had in a lowside @ NJMP. So for now I'm running this Kerker while I attempt to score a rare prototype exhaust system for it(doesnt look good as far as procurement goes) Also Bicycle bar end mirrors added(25.00)

Removed the decals from the windscreen, tank cover, and slip ons. Gives it a much cleaner look in my opinion. Oh, had the passenger pegs powder coated too.

Removed the Napoleon mirrors and mounted some bar end mirrors. Great visibility now but the very convex mirrors take getting used to. Everything is more distant

Went for a nice little 90 mile ride with Jeff. Then let him ride the VFR and the DRZ when we got back to my place. I don't think he wanted to give the DRZ back.....

They say Summer is coming in a few days. So on with the summer clothes, and I flipped 16,500 miles today so oil change. Went with the T6, I hope he smoothes things up some.
