I've been tire shopping and although I know these are not exactly an ideal tire for what I'm doing on the SV, I found a set for an unbelievable price of $215 shipped for a set. It's not that far off the Pilot Powers or BT016 I've been looking at and I'm sure they'd be fun to try

Normally, one tire itself is nearly $200 shipped.

I wonder if they will last the duration of my 3000 mile trip in June...

Interwebs people are reporting 4500-5000 miles from a rear so that's really not all that bad

I would for that price, I had a set of Sport Attacks and wound up getting over 3500 miles including a track day on them. I also paid more then the deal you are getting.

Ordered and done. Now I've got new tires en route for my trip in June. I used some bonus dollars I had accumulated so it only ended up costing me around $205 for the set--same as a rear on Motorcycle Superstore

Should have them mounted by mid-next week. Until then, I am going to try to totally finish this rear Shinko off. The forecast is amazing all week so I'm doing some damn riding :)

just saw cycle gear had pirelli diablo supersports for $190 out the door if anyone is interested? i would but just put new michelins on.

You have a great point. Maybe I should keep the current tires until the very last minute to save them as much as possible.

Good idea :)

I'm counting the days!
