Hi Guys,
I'm brand new to the FZ1 and have some questions about the fuelling problems these bikes have..
I've just (2 months ago) bought an 07 registered bike and it seems to suffer quite badly from throttle snatch (when you come back on the throttle agian, after taking up the slack theres a delay and then power 'kicks' in instead of coming in smoothly). I knew this was a problem with 06 bikes but thoughtit had been all but cured from 07 on?
So the questions.. 1) is it possible I actually have an 06 manufactured bike (just wasn't registered until 07)?
2) what's the best way to solve the problem? I've heard people talking about TPS adjustment and Power Commanders etc.
Bottom line is I'm brand new to biking (passed my test just 6 months ago), and don't really understand where to start!
Can anybody break it down into simple terms for me?
If it is possible to to go some way to solving the problem without the power commander this would be good as I think my insurance company will cream me if I start fiddling with the ECU!?
Many thanks in Advance
