Oh no!! We'll have to see what we can arrange and maybe STILL eek out a 4 day weekend. :D We'd be arriving later Friday afternoon/evening and leaving bright and early Mon. Morning... We can squeeze in two full days of riding. More to come! Any other bad weekends?

Well as of right now I only have concrete plans for Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends...

Looks awesome Billy cant wait to try her out!! I noticed early on in the thread you used kerosene to clean never heard of it so I gave it a try it cleaned duct tape off a fairing!! Wish I had known that little secret when cleaning the ninja up

The only weekend thats bad for me is the one in September. I think thats Memorial Day weekend. I'll be down at the AMA Races on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of September at NJMP. We have time to coordinate other weekends so don't worry.

Thanks Jeff. I've been using kerosene for a long time now with no ill effects on plastic, rubber, alum, etc. It's amazing at just how well it cleans. Glad you have started using it now. You'll be cleaning everything with it. Just don't wash your hair or brush your teeth with it! ;)

That's Labor Day weekend Billy, not Memorial Day weekend ;) (that one's in May). I may join you for the day on Sunday, but wont commit to anything yet.

As for the trailer...I say go for it :)

I vote for something with "Yamahauler" on it perhaps with the tuning forks logo.

YZF Update......

After getting the front section assembled, Tony arrived to do the EXUP Cables for me so I moved everything out of the way and switched over to "bike mode".

As Tony had told me before, it wasn't going to be an easy task, especially since I should have run them when I had the swingarm off the bike. I know, I know, stupid me!

Tony did a great job as usual, and before long it was just a matter of reconnecting the cables and adjusting them.

After Tony did the adjustments, the cables were lined up perfectly and the EXUP Valve was operating with no problems.

I only have to seal one of the screw holes with some JB Weld to stop up a small leak from where the bolt had broken. When we were finished, Tony and I decided to load the tank with Seafoam and see if the bike would run. I had put the petcock valve together backwards so at first we were getting no gas. Tony turned it around quickly and in no time we had her running again. At first it was running on only two cylinders, but after about 15 minutes of Seafoam running through, the other two cylinders came to life and the bike actually sounded pretty good. A BIG thanks to Tony for making the trip across the bridge to help me out! Here's a short video of the bike running....
