Thanks Mike! Now I'm anxious to get out there.... but we just got 9" of fresh snow and last night, 2" more and now it is raining! NH will be a while longer.... :( But I can live vicariously through videos like yours!

Hey I was just wondering what kind of camera you were using and how you have it placed? The video was pretty good..not to much wind noise at all. That windscreen of yours is huge...Looks like a movie theater screen!

It A GoPro Hero mounted using a RAM ball mount on the handlebars. The windscreen is a Puig racing screen and it is a couple inches taller than stock, but way better for my 5'6" frame. I plan to buy a beat up windscreen and chop it down for summer riding and to get a better camera view.

I connected my laptop to the bigscreen in order to re-live the experience. Fun stuff.

Question for you and the others that video your rides. Ever worry about getting pulled over and the police using the video against you ??
Really enjoy watching on bike footage but worry about the legal consequences.

The simple answer is no. If I get caught, I will pay.

I have that same attitude about getting ONE ticket.........but I picture the police
watching 15 minutes of video and handing me a stack of tickets .
Would/could the police give you a separate ticket for each time you speed, cross the center-line, wheelie, and so on ?
I suspect the police in my area would give a MINIMUM of 1 speeding ticket for more that 20mph over the limit,1 count of crossing the center-line and no doubt a ticket for reckless driving if they used that video against me.
A simple ticket for 20mph or more over the limit in my state results in a review of your driving history and usually a 6 month loss of license add the reckless driving charge and your riding the bus for a year. The insurance rate jump would be the other killer.
Love watching on bike footage but the risk of incriminating myself will keep me from doing it.

I've always wondered the same thing myself. As I always understood it, as long as you didn't include the speedometer in the shot you were fine. Who knows with today's technology, they could probably figure how fast you were going. I used to do it all the time....do they even have the right? If you were in a car and got pulled over for speeding with a camera in the car could they confiscate the camera? Interesting topic.

Not trying to hijack loosenut's post. Great videos, awesome road. Pick up my FZ1 Wednesday at noon. Plenty nice enough in Southern VT for me to ride home in. Can't wait to join the club.

Well, the one beauty of this road is that is is a known for this and I have yet to see any police other than at the observatory. There are usually more than enough motorcyclist to warn you of any police presence.

Thanks for the videos. I love to see great roads in other parts of the country, especially during the cold months when I don't ride in central IL.

I really enjoy seeing the speedo and tach in the video. It's much easier to understand how hard you're pushing it. I wouldn't want anyone to get a ticket from a video they made and I understand why some wouldn't want to include too much info. I'm glad you do and I share your attitude about it.

Keep on keeping on
