Are you kidding! You can have all the "rides" you want buddy. Just NO ROLLING BURNOUTS!!!!!!!! I'm NOT cleaning rubber from the rear of this bike.....NEVER!!! Hahaha!!!

Who Me? lol I wouldnt. In fact it would be my nature to actually save you where and tear on your front tire! LOL.
Does the burnout still sound so bad?

You know I wouldnt beat your bike. I have far too much respect for other peoples things. Espcially the big guys that could ring my neck. lol

I know pal, just kidding of course. As soon as I'm down by you, you can check it out. I have the Trailer now so heading down to you will be easy as pie!!:party0011:

Yeah

I think they look great just they way they turned out. very nice work.

I'm with Earl, I think they look fantastic as is. . . .. do not take them off. They will set the wheels in motion, once they are mounted and next to the shiny bodywork !! :ditto:

They look awesome the way they are Billy. No need to change 'em. Maybe buy the narrow ones in red IF these ever get damaged?

You're right on track with riding season approaching here. I'm always VERY anxious once we turn the clocks ahead. I have mine and Michele's all buttoned up and ready to ride. We just have to go register them for the year!

Good luck today and we're hoping for the big reveal soon! Awesome job!!

Looking good Billy! Just wish I could give you a hand tomorrow because we would have that bad boy up and running in no time :D

Big Day Today! I wish I could have done more but it seems that the "little" things are the ones that take up so much time! Was down by 7:30am and got back up at 4pm. I got a lot accomplished considering I was working "solo" today. Richie felt it necessary to sleep til noon! I will list all the things I got done today and then go right into the photos so as not to bore anyone with my senseless ramblings.

I removed the EXUP Servo and Fuel Pump and vacuumed the top of the motor to remove all the leaves, bugs, and crud. I then cleaned it up the best I could with kerosene and a brush. I wanted to be careful of all the lines and hoses so I didn't go too crazy.

Cleaned the EXUP Servo and re-installed.

Removed the fuel pump and filter and cleaned below it as good as I could.

I dug through the garbage and recovered the original chain. I cleaned it up real good so I can use it tomorrow to remove the front sprocket.

My hands feel like someone jumped on them and the old back is aching but I'm super happy to have gotten this much done today. Tomorrow I'll pick up some stuff from Tony early and head back to the garage for Part II. I was happy to find my Roadside Assistance Package arrive today. I gotta thank Tony for suggesting it to me. It's a great deal and now I need not worry when I'm out and about!
IMG_2861.jpg

So that's it for today's adventure. I gotta go jump in a shower and clean up. I'll probably take a little nap after todays work. I'm beat!!! More to come tomorrow!!! Thanks for looking!

Great progress Billy! Bike is coming out great so far. Don't forget to grease the dogbone bushings before assembling the shock linkage.

That EXUP cover looks good on there ;)

Thanks Pete, I got a bunch of things accomplished today. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have your calipers on and bled with the new Russell Braided Lines. I also want to get that front sprocket off and get the conversion kit installed. I called the powdercoater today and of course the exhaust won't be ready until Monday now! I hate when someone tells you one day and then it winds up being another 3 days! You'd think that he would get it done when he said considering it's my first time there. That screws up my whole "to do" list now. I could have had the exhaust, radiator, and RS-3 installed tomorrow. Now I have to wait until next Saturday. :waiting:
