sorry -- but the yamaha MT-OS had already been submitted in one of the first BOM polls....

Congrats to bewarethefuzz for his winning submission titled "chin scratcher". 2000 credits have been deposited into his offshore account to spend anyway he should chose, so long as it is in the casino or being a donation to another board member.....

hehe, I like the violator. Reminds me of back in the late 80's early 90's when I first started riding. Naked bikes is only a recent love of mine but the Honda never did it for me.

well....initially, I don't feel so out of touch -- maybe it was some rare production run and I just missed the memo....

BTW -- if ya go submissions for your own tastes.....post 'em here for the first thread in January.

going to take all the previous winners of the past year to have a "Best of" for December....just had the idea....right now....this very instant....enough babbling....

Yes --

the BOM referenced here was the first attempt to model the FZ6 sister site for getting member participation in a contest like format. There got to be actual member rides going up against the strange and exotic.

So, after a short discussion -- the Gallery MBOM was created to showcase members rides, be it the FZ or anything else that deemed worthy....and owned!

So, the BOM thread of for the strange and exotic, and to allow others to share what they see/find in their travels. But you can feel free to submit your ride should you want to go up against the other submissions.

We were alot younger a year ago, and it is a work in progress so that when membership starts to jump up, with the upcoming winter, we can have a means/method in place....

but it does not mean that it can be tweaked from time to time....

And someone please give me the nitty gritty on why the Honda is such a desiresble bike?

First ever V-tec for Honda. This is the rare CB400SuperFour V-tec SpecII. Really that's the marketed name, imagine the printing costs.
178kg/53hp, 13000rpm ceiling and a vtec system utilizing 2 valves to 6800rpm and then breathing deep on 4 valves from there up. Showa suspension, Nissin brakes & sixspeed. Makes the CB750 look like the snail it really is.
This was my personal bike until a year ago. Great fun, real useable and looked neat too.
In action, listen to it.

December's is going to be a best of the best for the month of '09.
