Hello I'm new here again, was a member in 2016 when i purchased a 2002 Yamaha Fz1 but had to sell and haven't had an FZ1 until now been since 2019 since i had a Yamaha FZ1 been terrible without my baby, my favorite bike ever, but just traded my Yamaha Stratoliner for this 2009 Yamaha FZ1S she's amazing I'm in heaven once again and a much nicer FZ1 than my 2002 was already has lots of upgrades done, like exhaust and LED tail lights with integrated turn signals,Ivans ECU mod Archopovic exhaust,carbon fiber fenders. And lots more im sure, it runs incredible, can't wait for some warm weather here in Michigan, do glad to be back in the game.

Change fluids, check for generator rotor replacement (known to sling epoxied magnets through the engine), brake pads, flush brake fluid, etc. now while the weather is bad.
If it's still Jerry in 1rst, 2nd, and 3rd gears, make any mods you plan and have ECU flashed to match mods.

Thx so much yup it's been upgraded with new version of the Yamaha stator , after looking it has the Delkevik slip on exhaust, and has been flash by IVAN it runs so good.

Has 33,000 miles but runs like brand new, it ain't even broke in yet at 33,000 miles, has always had rotella t6 oil and K&N filters in it. Runs and shifts very smooth.
