I'm in the process of doing winter maintenance on my 04 FZ1. After a long year of riding the carbs developed a small coolant leak (Old Hoses) which would leak on the motor. So decided to overhaul the my carbs today. The carbs have been Ivanized and are the best mod I have done for the bike. Upon disassembly I found out one of the Piston Valves have the prong tabs snapped off internally so the Jet Needle floats and doesn't seat right. Easy fix but the dealer wants $50.00 for this plastic part.
Does anyone on here have a extra one for sale or trade?
