Now that I have the R1 gauge on my Gen 1 I have a digital display of the temp. Is 140 F too hot?

Also, does anyone know when my rad fan should kick on ( Temp or time wise) I have to 00-01 R1 gauge so it should function in the same manner as the FZ.

Not too hot, but too cool. I seriously doubt your Gen I is truly running at 140 deg F when fully warmed up at normal operation. Not sure about Gen I's, but a Gen II will run 180-200 in normal operation.
 
Probably not fully warmed up because I was cutting it off as it hit 140 F. I was worries it would over heat smh. Good to know average temps. Thanks.
